Senior Associate Pastor
Steve is originally from Southeastern Pennsylvania, as is his wife Pam. He holds a BA in Bible, a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Studies and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry at Biblical Theological Seminary (www.biblical.edu).
Pastor Steve was called to GLCC in January 2001 and moved to Manassas in May 2001. He is the team leader for the GLCC staff and leadership team and he also oversees missions & outreach. Steve and his wife Pam were high school sweethearts and have been married for over 20 years. They have four children: Joshua, Amanda, Justin and Katelyn.
Jamie Brandon, Jr.
Director of Student Ministries
Jamie is originally from the small town of York, South Carolina. He earned his BA in Youth Ministry and Theatre from Charleston Southern University. He has worked in student ministry for almost 10 years. He and his wife, Natalie, moved to Bristow in December of 2014. Jamie came on staff in January of 2015.
Jamie and Natalie are huge Clemson Tiger fans. Jamie has several pet amphibians and reptiles. One of which is a pixie frog from eastern Africa. They sponsor three kids through Compassion International that live in Singida, Tanzania. Jamie's passion is to see students realize their life within the mission and passion of God.
Kris is a native Virginian. Kris married her husband Mike in 1987 and they have three children. Kris was called into ministry in 1994 and has served as a church secretary, teacher, office assistant, and an office manager of a local Christian school. In 2007 she completed the Grace Life Institute Basic Training at Grace Ministries (www.undergrace.org). Kris joined the staff at GLCC in 2004.
Wendy grew up in Pennsylvania and earned a degree in accounting at the University of South Florida and a degree in elementary education at Florida International University. She married her loving husband Daryl in 1991 in Florida. They relocated to New Hampshire in 1994 to start their family. They have three children: Cassie, Cami, and Cory. Wendy worked for 20 years as a classroom teacher, math interventionist, and a mathematics coordinator administrator where she was able to blend the skills of teaching and accounting. In 2012, she and her family moved to Virginia. Wendy is so happy to follow her heart and serve as receptionist in the GLCC office.
Laura grew up in New Jersey and earned a degree in Business Administration from Houghton College in New York State. She met her husband, Kevin, in college and they were married in 1992. Prior to having children in 1998, Laura worked for a trade association in Alexandria. Kevin and Laura have three daughters: Catherine, Heather and Jessica. Laura has had the privilege of homeschooling their daughters since 2005. In 2017, she was blessed with the opportunity to work part-time in the GLCC office.
