“If you are going to be the kind of man that you are supposed to be, you have to be connected with other men who can speak into your life, who can call out the best in you, who can cheer for your success, admire your efforts, and be your friend.” -Robert Lewis
Today, more than ever, we need to be connected to other men who can help us become all that God intends us to be. We need to be challenged, encouraged, held accountable and engaged in fraternity and fellowship.
A monthly opportunity for men to enjoy time & fellowship with other Christian men. Each activity is geared for men of all ages and interests. We have found that men that play together pray together.
Sports & recreation are used to develop relationships among men and develop opportunities for us to minister to their needs. Outings lead men to a feeling of unity & a level of comfort with each other allowing them to join a Band of Brothers. Our desire is that men will find the adventure in life that God intended.
Men's Awakening Breakfast
This activity is offered on the third Saturday of each month at 8:00am in the GLCC Gym & is open to all men. Please RSVP to Doug Neuberger each month you plan to attend.
This activity is open to the community & is offered on select Fridays of each month from 7:00pm-9:00pm for ages 35 & up. Please contact the church office for the current schedule.
One on One Mentoring
Waking men up to the true reality they are living in. Meeting with men during the week give us the opportunity to minister to their hearts & be a steadfast force in their life.
Small Group Studies
Discipleship is a critical part of our relationship with Christ. Our small group studies offer men an opportunity to develop in three major areas: knowledge, skill and character. Courses addressing issues unique to men are routinely offered.
GLCC men are invited to participate in various retreats designed to encourage spiritual growth and community. These opportunites will be publicized a few months in advance. Keep an eye out for the next event!
